In preparation and looking forward to join the group exhibition “Meetings with remarkable women”. Together with 3 other women, each of whom has a fascinating story to tell. From very different backgrounds but connecting through their art.
The exhibition is being held from January 21st until January 24th 2021 in the iconic Art Chapel – Amsterdam. I will be showing my latest works “Transcendent Winds”
Honored to have received a commission for the international insurance company Hiscox. The work will be part of the upcoming group exhibition and the unveiling event is scheduled for January 21st 2021. The painting will incorporate their logo and will be mixed media on canvas 155cm x 165cm.
Proud and honored to be accepted as a new member of the oldest Art Society in the Netherlands. The society was founded in 1880 by students of the famous “Rijksakademie voor Beeldende Kunsten”. Founding members included artists such as Jan Toroop, Piet Mondriaan, Jan Sluijters en Willem Witsen.
The acceptance letter stated; “Art is in your veins and a necessity for you. The paintings are excellent and meticulous executed. We are confident that you will bring a truly valuable contribution to the society”.
Unfortunately, the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam has been postponed to Spring 2021 due to the Covid-19 situation. The well-being of the visitors, staff and artists comes first and I completely understand this announcement/decision. Nevertheless, we were all prepared and ready to go with Jan Tervoort of JCT Gallery. Looking forward to the Spring edition 2021.
